Reach Life Church is a 10-year-old church plant in Asheville, North Carolina, averaging approximately 130 people on Sunday mornings. We are a growing church with a desire for making disciples, building authentic relationships, cultivating a culture of prayer, and reaching those who do not know Christ. Our desire is to be a faithful Gospel witness in our city.

We are seeking a

part-time Worship Leader (approximately 10 hours per week)

who is not simply looking to lead music but desires to help grow and shepherd God's people through Christ-centered worship.

Hold a high view of Scripture and a strong commitment to biblical truth.

Possess a heart for the local church and embrace a church-planting, missionary mindset.

Value relationships, hospitality, teamwork, and discipleship.

Be humble, teachable, dependable, and eager to develop volunteers.

Musical Qualifications
Candidates should:

Lead confidently from either

acoustic/electric guitar or keyboard .

Be a strong lead vocalist capable of engaging and leading a congregation.

Build and develop vocal and instrumental arrangements for a volunteer worship team.

Be experienced with in-ear monitoring, click tracks, and arranging songs using tracks.

Be proficient with

and comfortable leading rehearsals.

Our worship gatherings intentionally celebrate the gospel and the finished work of Christ. We regularly sing about His holiness, His atoning sacrifice, His resurrection, His reign, and the hope we have in Him.

Responsibilities

Lead Sunday morning worship services.

Lead one weekly rehearsal.

Prepare music and arrangements for the worship team.

Develop vocalists and instrumentalists.

Help cultivate a healthy, Christ-centered worship culture.

Partner with the Lead Pastor in planning worship gatherings that support the preaching of God's Word.

Be a part of the weekly Staff Meeting.

Be a part of a weekly Missional Community (small group)

Time Commitment
Approximately

10 hours per week , including:

Sunday morning services

Weekly rehearsal

Preparation, planning, communication, and team development
