News Photographer Location: Colorado Springs, CO. Join KXRM-TV FOX21, part of Nexstar Media Group, one of the largest local media companies in the U.S.
Overview As a News Photographer, you will operate television or video cameras to record images or scenes for news reports. You will shoot video, confere with staff to discuss assignments, set up and execute live shots, maintain equipment, and edit clips for broadcast and eMedia content.
Responsibilities Operate television or video cameras to record images or scenes for news reports.
Shoot video for news reports.
Confere with other personnel regarding assignments, logistics, and shot requirements.
Set up, compose, and execute live shots.
Maintain video equipment.
Edit video clips for television broadcasts and eMedia content.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications College degree.
Fluency in English.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Minimum two years of experience operating video recording equipment, with preference for larger markets.
Proficiency with video recording equipment.
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work any shift.
Compensation Range: $19.50 per hour + commensurate with experience and skill level.
