The Marketing Operations Manager acts as the operational bridge between Marketing, Enrollment and School Operations to ensure accurate school data, aligned communication, and smooth campaign execution. This role provides market insights, maintains compliance, and helps define each school’s unique value proposition.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary Marketing Operational liaison across Enrollment, School Operations and School Teams to ensure seamless workflow

Team with School Ops, Enrollment, School Teams to drive enrollment kick off and reenrollment efforts

Update broader company teams during “standup” launch meetings

Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of all school information across internal systems and communication channels to ensure consistent profiles

Assist in updating and maintaining files and school information in SharePoint

Act as the initial subject matter expert for campaigns, advocating effectively on behalf of school teams and current/prospective families. When required, work with subject matter experts across the organization, including Education, IT, Operations, and others.

Intake for school-level requests (e.g., swag, flyers) and provide schools with the shared team reporting structure monthly

Work with Project Management as the marketing liaison for new school launches

Collect current existing creative from the partner OR work with internal creative team to build out new creative

Provide technical team, copywriting team, and creative with pertinent information to build out the website

Supply the Performance Marketing team with platform access from the partner

Conduct market analysis (demographic, psychographic, competitive)

Ensure compliance with education and marketing privacy regulations

Team with schools to articulate school differentiators (clubs, activities, curriculum offerings)

Work with the data & analytics, admissions, performance marketing, and social media teams to create monthly performance reports for all schools

Coordinate directly with school teams' content creators to align on social media execution while involving the social media internal team

Support social media community management by assisting with engagement and escalation plans in partnership with PR and School Operations

Partner with content strategy, enrollment, and school teams to develop content workflows that engage prospective students and drive conversions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field

Minimum five years of relevant experience in virtual education, education technology, school services, marketing, or a related field

Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills

Good communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Proficient in Office365 applications

Working knowledge of marketing platforms including Salesforce

Experience with content editing and creation

Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms

Comfort with and experience operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

Ability and willingness to travel occasionally

Within reasonable commuting distance to Tysons Corner, VA or Phoenix, AZ

Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks

Compensation and Benefits
The annual starting salary for this position is between $95,000 – $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
