Requisition Number: 2026-00269 • FTE: 1 • Work Schedule: M-F 8-5 • Pay: 60,000-64,000 per year • Pay Schedule: Annually • FLSA: Exempt

Responsibilities

• Prep and hosting of the morning program every weekday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.


• Conduct research and preparation for programmed music, benchmarks, features, and other on-air events.


• Announce on-air segments and weave together all program elements to create an engaging, high-quality show.


• Support development efforts as needed by attending select donor meetings.


• Participate in staff meetings, station fund drives, KVNO events, and marketing activities; represent KVNO in the community with other on-air hosts.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Highly skilled in radio or related creative field.


• Required Experience: Three years of on-air experience as a radio host or in a related field and experience communicating to audiences in person and via various platforms.


• Required License/Certification: None


• Required Additional Qualifications: Experience in radio or related creative field; ability to create content at a consistently high level on a regular basis.


• Preferred Education: None specified


• Preferred Experience: Hosting a classical music radio program or podcast; working in the arts or with classical music.


• Preferred License/Certification: None


• Preferred Additional Qualifications: None
