The Multimedia Specialist is responsible for assisting in managing the production and visual communication of the Fallbrook Church brand to promote unity, authenticity, and clarity to the church body, ministry teams, staff, and the larger community. Candidates must have a strong background in a variety of production skill sets including video production/editing, technical set‑up and troubleshooting, photography, videography, audio, and lighting. This position also supports the creative duties of the Pastor of Worship and Media.

Essential Job Functions
Organizational & Strategy

Participate in weekly staff meetings and other creative meetings as needed.

Execute the church’s production pieces in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner to inform and engage the church body and community.

Work with staff to develop communication systems, define priorities, and create an environment where messages can be communicated clearly, creatively, and effectively.

Create clear and efficient lines of communication for ministry communication needs and requests.

Perform other communication‑related duties as assigned.

Design & Brand Management

Assist in writing and managing content for all communication channels at Fallbrook Church, in partnership with specific ministry leads as needed.

Monitor the appearance, brand, and feel of all promotional materials representing Fallbrook Church to ensure alignment with brand standards.

Maintain an inventory of church‑branded items and digital assets for internal and external use.

Production

Set up and maintain audio and video systems for Sunday services and weekly events, ensuring high‑quality production standards.

Coordinate and transmit video content between campuses and designated rooms to support event production.

Assemble and configure LED walls for services and special events.

Troubleshoot technical issues in production areas efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.

Operate the audio mixing console during live events and services to deliver clear, balanced sound.

Program and control lighting systems and background LED visuals to enhance the overall atmosphere.

Set up cameras, lighting, and related equipment for professional‑quality interview recordings.

Video Creation & Livestream Management

Help develop and create video content related to Sunday services and other ministry needs.

Think forward and ideate opportunities for video projects as well as respond to ministry requests and needs related to video.

Log into livestream, monitor and respond to all comments, welcoming online guests and providing a weekly report of viewership and engagement.

Support and equip Communications Ministry volunteers with video production skills.

Other Duties
Other duties as assigned by the Senior and/or Director of Operations.

Required Qualifications

A mature, strong, and growing relationship with Jesus, a heart for the local church, and a passion to use communications as a means of ministry to open doors for Gospel impact.

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field with appropriate experience.

A minimum of four years’ experience in the field.

Experience developing promotional materials.

Experience doing live productions or large‑scale events.

Experience with production editing tools, such as the Adobe Creative Suite of products.

Experience meeting deadlines and navigating multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with online platforms for web and social media; basic understanding of HTML and CSS for maintaining website content.

Strong organizational and people skills, creativity, flexibility, self‑motivation, and the ability to thrive in a team setting, and work effectively with church members, staff, and volunteers.

Ability to pick up new skills and technologies quickly.

Strong visionary, planning, and organizational skills.

Able to multi‑task and be a self‑starter.
