Account Executive/Job Development (NonProfit) Bronx

Overview AHRC New York City is hiring an Account Executive/Job Developer for the Bronx Employment Business Services (EBS) program. Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 per year. Low-cost comprehensive health benefit package. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm.
The Account Executive develops relationships within the business sector to create employment and internship opportunities for job seekers. The role requires familiarity with EBS services and comfort in engaging with senior external business professionals. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and collaborates with Program Staff to ensure effective job matching and high-quality customer service. The Account Executive will meet placement goals aligned with Addendum #1 "Job Placement Goals" and may work flexible or extended hours. The role includes cold calling, presentations, and periodic placements, with monthly reporting on placements to the Regional Sales Manager.
Additional duties include attending marketing and other required meetings, supporting cross-departmental projects, and assisting other regions as needed.
Responsibilities Develop employment opportunities for people supported as outlined in Addendum #1.
Promote a positive image and knowledge of AHRC's Employment & Business Services.
Initiate employer relationships through cold calling, participation in business groups, and related activities.
Cultivate relationships with employers in targeted industries aligned with job seekers' abilities and interests.
Accompany job seekers to interviews and help them present themselves effectively; travel with job seekers by public transportation or program van when approved.
Coordinate account management with the Employment and Community Service Coordinator and other EBS staff.
Ensure program placement goals are met for each program region quarterly.
Prepare and deliver marketing presentations as needed.
Participate in networking events and travel within the five boroughs and out of state as required.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree (Arts or Science) plus 2 years of marketing/sales/related experience, or an Associate's Degree with 5 years of experience, required.
