Job Description

AHRC NYC is seeking an Account Executive for its Brooklyn and Bronx Employment Business Services (EBS) programs. The role entails developing relationships within the business sector to generate employment and internship opportunities for job seekers. The position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with Program Staff to enable best job matches for both job seekers and business customers. The Account Executive may conduct presentations to groups, travel with job seekers, and support other regions or departments as needed.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
Comprehensive health benefit package.
Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; flexible or extended schedule may be required.
Responsibilities

Develop employment opportunities for people supported as outlined in Addendum #1.
Promote a positive image and knowledge of AHRC’s Employment & Business Services.
Initiate employer relationships through cold calling, involvement in business groups, and other activities.
Cultivate relationships with employers and other business people in the targeted industries through the abilities and interests of job seekers.
Accompany job seekers on interviews and assist them in presenting themselves in the best light possible; travel with job seekers via public transportation or program van when approved as agency driver.
Coordinate account management with the Employment and Community Service Coordinator and other appropriate EBS staff.
Ensure program placement goals are met for each program in the region on a quarterly basis.
Prepare and deliver marketing presentations as needed.
Participate in networking events.
Travel throughout the five boroughs and in or out of state as needed.
Conduct other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Arts or Bachelor’s in Science, plus 2 years of marketing, sales, or related experience; or an Associate’s Degree with 5
