Overview:
This is a Director-level Credit Risk opportunity within the Specialized Finance function of a well-established global financial institution, focused on evaluating and managing credit risk across a diverse portfolio of specialized finance transactions spanning infrastructure, renewable energy, and digital development projects. The role sits at the intersection of financial sponsor strategy and project finance credit risk — offering meaningful involvement in large-scale transaction assessment, due diligence leadership, and risk mitigation strategy development. Lead due diligence efforts to evaluate project risks and mitigate potential issues; coordinate with legal, technical, environmental, and other expert stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to protect the institution's interests while supporting successful project outcomes
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including project sponsors, lenders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment across all aspects of transaction execution
Prepare detailed risk reports, presentations, and credit views for senior management and Risk Management Committee
