Director - Project Finance - Credit Officer

Our Client is a top-tier European Bank located in Manhattan that is looking to add a Senior Credit Officer focused on covering the Project Finance business line which includes power, infrastructure, mining, renewables and oil & gas.
Key Responsibilities:

Initiates, coordinates, and drives the review of credit applications for completeness and consistency with internal policies and risk strategies.
Performs impartial analysis of the borrower, group and transaction structure based on review of term sheet, market study, financial model, legal due diligence, and engineer report, and follows up as needed with Front Office.
Makes credit recommendations in consultation with Sector Credit Officer regarding exposure, ratings, structure.
Assists in any internal or external portfolio reviews, preparation of documents for US Risk Committee, Early Warning meetings, audit assessments, loan reviews, or special projects as needed.
Role Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of credit of finance experience preferably at a bank or rating agency with experience in structured finance and/or project finance
Must have a BA in business or relevant field, MBA or equivalent Masters in Finance degree is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and make presentations to Credit Committee
