Leading the editorial voice and content strategy, the remote Newsletter Editor will manage the daily production of the flagship newsletter, "Unbiased Updates," while editing and optimizing a portfolio of subscriber-exclusive newsletters to enhance reader engagement and loyalty.
Key responsibilities
Write and produce the daily "Unbiased Updates" newsletter, prioritizing relevant stories for the audience
Edit weekly newsletters and collaborate with content leaders to enhance storytelling and audience appeal
Develop strategies to increase newsletter engagement metrics, including open and click-through rates
Required qualifications
5+ years of experience in newsletters, audience development, or digital journalism
Exceptional news judgment and understanding of the daily news cycle
Proven ability to curate coverage that resonates with audiences
Experience with email marketing platforms, particularly Braze
Strong analytical skills to use data for informing editorial decisions
