Role Description
The Ads team, part of HubSpot's Build Awareness product line, owns how businesses create, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across major ad platforms directly from HubSpot. In this role, you'll define the strategy for how HubSpot helps growing businesses get more from every dollar they spend on paid media.
The advertising landscape is shifting fast. We're looking for a Staff Product Manager who can help define HubSpot's ads strategy in this new reality.
Own the product vision and multi-quarter strategy for HubSpot's Ads experience, tying paid media capabilities to customer acquisition outcomes and platform-level business goals.
Define and drive a cohesive roadmap as a critical member of the Product Triad.
Partner with AI teams to bring intelligent campaign creation, audience optimization, and automated budget allocation into the ads workflow.
Navigate a complex, fast-moving ecosystem of ad platform APIs, privacy regulations, and measurement frameworks.
Shape HubSpot's differentiated positioning at the intersection of ads and CRM.
Use data to guide strategy and decision-making, including defining success metrics and evaluating tradeoffs.
Influence product direction beyond your immediate team, contributing to Build Awareness and platform-level strategy.
Guide new product ideas from initial concept through launch, setting a high bar for execution and customer impact.
Qualifications
Significant experience launching and scaling customer-facing products, ideally in advertising technology, paid media tools, or performance marketing platforms.
Deep understanding of digital advertising ecosystems - campaign management, audience targeting, attribution, and the interplay between ad platforms and first-party data.
A track record of defining and driving product strategy at a senior level.
Comfort operating in highly ambiguous, technically complex, and regulation-sensitive problem spaces.
A data-oriented approach to product management, using metrics, experimentation, and tradeoff analysis.
Technical fluency and systems thinking, with the ability to reason about platform integrations, data pipelines, and API constraints.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience influencing outcomes through collaboration and persuasion.
The ability to clearly articulate product strategy and tradeoffs to engineering partners, senior leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Experience operating effectively in complex product ecosystems where success depends on coordination across multiple teams and surfaces.
Requirements
Please note, East Coast or Central Time Zones are preferred.
Benefits
Annual Cash Compensation Range: $205,500 — $328,800 USD.
Participation in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs).
Flexible work style and location options.
Support for candidates who may need alternative arrangements.
