Key responsibilities
Collaborate with journalists, reporters, and editors to produce sports stories using various automated systems
Work under deadline pressure to cover a wide range of sports topics
Engage with sources including AP staff and Sports Information Directors to gather information
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with at least three years in a news-related role
Strong knowledge of professional and college sports
Proven organizational and planning skills to manage multiple projects
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
Access to a home computer and Wi-Fi, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
