About Us: Maker Mindz is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sparking curiosity and creativity in K–12 students through hands-on STEM education. We develop engaging STEM kits, online workshops, youth-focused videos, and innovative learning tools to empower the next generation of engineers, scientists, and creators.
Role Overview: We are looking for a creative, organized, and platform-savvy Social Media Content Creator to manage and grow our presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and Facebook. This person will create engaging, platform-specific content to raise awareness of our mission, showcase our impact, and grow our community of supporters, volunteers, and learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a content calendar across all platforms.
Create engaging posts (graphics, videos, reels, carousels, stories) tailored to each platform.
Write compelling and professional captions that align with our brand voice.
Highlight our programs, success stories, upcoming workshops, volunteer opportunities, and educational content.
Collaborate with internal teams for timely updates and STEM-related visuals.
Monitor performance metrics and suggest content improvements.
Ensure consistent branding and voice across all platforms.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience managing social media for an organization, brand, or nonprofit.
Strong graphic design and content creation skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools).
Understanding of platform-specific strategies (Instagram Reels, LinkedIn articles, etc.).
Excellent written communication with an eye for engaging storytelling.
Passion for education, STEM, and youth development is a plus!
