NYC Account Director

Darlington is hiring a NYC Account Director to lead and execute social strategy, content creation, and channel management for talent across Instagram and TikTok. We're looking for a creative, culturally plugged-in marketer who can blend storytelling, strategy, and analytics to grow and elevate our clients.

Responsibilities

Lead social strategy, content development, and audience growth for Darlington clients

Oversee end-to-end content execution, including planning, on-site photo/video capture, copywriting, publishing and community management

Manage day-to-day client relationships and serve as the primary strategic lead for talent, management teams, brand partners, agents, and internal stakeholders

Drive the development and execution of social campaigns, brand partnerships, launches, press tours, and real-time engagement opportunities

Track performance and turn insights into actionable recommendations

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in social media, content creation or talent management

Strong interpersonal and client management skills with experience navigating relationships with talent, representation, and brands

Proven success growing and managing Instagram & TikTok communities

Strong creative, storytelling, and platform-native content capture/editing skills

Thrives in dynamic environments, successfully managing work across a broad range of clients

Agency experience required
