Business Lead and Relationship Manager

Responsible for leading business development initiatives and managing high-value client relationships to drive revenue and strategic growth. Partners with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop solutions aligned with client objectives, and ensure delivery excellence. Acts as a trusted advisor to clients and mentors junior team members to enhance relationship management capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue growth and product penetration targets.
Maintain and strengthen relationships with key executives and decision-makers within client organizations.
Analyze client needs to recommend customized products, services, or solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to secure long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and underwriting, to ensure seamless service delivery for complex accounts.
Provide client feedback to inform product development and operational improvements.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
Mentor and support junior relationship managers in client engagement best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
7+ years of experience in business development or relationship management roles within the insurance or financial services industry.
Proven track record of achieving growth targets and maintaining strong client relationships.
Experience negotiating complex agreements and managing key accounts.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS

Relevant state insurance license as required by role responsibilities.
Professional certifications such as CPCU or ARM are preferred but not mandatory.

The annual base salary for this position is $100,000 - $130,000.
