Job Duties
- Conduct reviews of SOM websites and applicationsanddocumentsforadherence with the SOM Digital Standards forWebsites and Applications
- Test for digital accessibility using manual and automatedtoolsincluding screen reader and other assistive technology
- Review for adherence withadditionalstandardsincluding branding
- Performtestingondesktop and mobiledevices
- Thoroughly document review results
- Provide results toapplication supportteamsandstakeholdersand meetwith teams to explain results
- Work closelywitheMichiganteam memberstoensure processes are followed andoptimized
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
- Some college
Required Skills
- 1+ years of testing applications for digitalaccessibility
- 1 yearworking with WebContentAccessibilityGuidelines (WCAG)
- Advanced knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines(WCAG) 2.1 Level AA
- Advanced skills using assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA,VoiceOver, TalkBack
Preferred Skills
- 3+ years of testing applications for digital accessibility
