Swift Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Swift Engineer to design, develop, and ship high-quality applications across iOS and macOS platforms. This role requires deep native Apple platform expertise combined with backend development skills in Go and hands-on experience integrating Generative AI capabilities, specifically Claude, into product workflows. The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering foundation, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to work effectively across distributed, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and ship high-quality, performant applications for iOS and macOS using Swift.
Build and consume RESTful APIs, working extensively with JSON for client-server data exchange.
Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and SQL to solve complex engineering problems and optimize application performance.
Contribute to backend services and APIs using GoLang, supporting scalable server-side functionality for client applications.
Integrate Generative AI capabilities using Claude into application features and internal engineering workflows to enhance product functionality and developer productivity.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming) and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Manage code using Git and Gitflow branching strategies, ensuring clean, well-documented, and maintainable codebases.
Debug and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, product managers, and cross-functional teams - both in-person and remote.
Write clean, testable, well-documented code following best practices and participate in code reviews.
Required Skills:

Proficiency in Swift for iOS and macOS application development.
Deep native Apple platform expertise.
Experience with backend development using GoLang.
Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI capabilities, specifically Claude.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON for client-server data exchange.
Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ceremonies.
Proficiency in Git and Gitflow branching strategies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for debugging complex technical issues.
Ability to write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
