Graphic Designer III - Part Time

HYBRIDPosition will require a minimum of on-site work once per month when training / acclimation is complete. Additional on-site work as required and/or requested by HHS.SUMMARYThe Graphic Designer III is responsible for developing visual concepts, creating designs for digital and print materials, and collaborating with marketing and development teams to ensure brand consistency. Other duties may be assigned.Leads design projects from concept to completion.Collaborates with clients to understand their design needs and objectives.Develops and presents design proposals and strategies to clients.Creates high-quality designs for various mediums, including print and digital.Provides feedback to junior graphic designers.Coordinates with external vendors and printers to ensure accurate production.Stays updated with emerging design trends and technologies.Graphic Designer should be proficient in :Adobe PhotoshopAdobe IllustratorAdobe InDesignAdobe Acrobat ProMicrosoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and WordLayout and publication designJAWSSection 508 accessibility requirementsForms and document designCreating accessible PDFs and electronic publicationsKnowledge of plain language principlesEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree and a minimum of four to seven (4-7) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
