Job Description
The Lead Scenic Designer will create the visual environment for productions by conceptualizing and designing sets, backdrops, and props, working with directors to match the narrative, and producing technical drawings, models, and renderings for construction. The position will oversee building stage sets, backdrops, platforms, and specialty props and applying paint, finishes, and graphics to achieve the desired look.

Required: Knowledge of CorelDRAW, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Experience with laser-cutting machines; wide-format printing equipment; and UV-printers. Knowledge of machinery and tools used for building frames and constructions (miter saws, frame-joining equipment, etc.) work with wood assemble frames, bases, and supporting structures for scenic pieces.
