Responsibilities

Lead fan engagement throughout hockey and basketball games with clear, energetic delivery
Host in‑game promotions, contests, and sponsor activations on the mic
Guide crowd interaction during timeouts, intermissions, and pregame segments
Work alongside Marketing and Fan Engagement staff to execute game presentation plans
Interact with fans on the concourse and in seating areas as assigned
Maintain strong on‑camera and in‑arena presence during video board features
Rotate hosting assignments with other team members throughout the season
Qualifications

Strong, confident speaking voice with clear delivery on a live microphone
Comfortable engaging fans and leading crowd interaction in a high‑energy environment
Prior hosting, performing, public speaking, or customer‑facing experience is helpful
Able to follow direction from Marketing and Fan Engagement staff and adapt quickly in‑game
Reliable, punctual, and able to work nights, weekends, and rotating game assignments
Comfortable moving throughout the arena, including concourse and on‑court/ice‑level areas
Hours of Position

Rotating hosting assignments for home hockey and basketball games, plus select campus or community events
Nights and weekends required throughout the athletic season
Additional opportunities during playoffs or special university functions
