Technical Paid Seeking Assistant Lights -- The Music Man Ya Got Trouble LLC New

Big League Productions (BLP) seeks submissions for non-union Assistant Lights for the upcoming 2026-2027 national touring production of THE MUSIC MAN.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

This full-time, touring position will report to Head Electrician, Head Carpenter, Producers and General Manager, working closely with Production Stage Manager and Company Manager while on the road. This position is responsible for assisting load-in, load-out, set-up, run-of-show duties, post-show protocol, and tear-down of all lights elements, ensuring props run safely and accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS:

BLP seeks strong team players, with the ability to work well under pressure. Attention to detail is also of utmost importance.
Strong communication skills.
Previous touring experience, while not required, is preferred.
A valid US driver's license is required.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time (3+ hours), navigate multiple levels of stairs.
TIMELINE:

All tours will play a mixture of one-week engagements, split-weeks, and one-night performances. The Tour will also have a few layoff weeks sprinkled throughout the itinerary.
MUSIC MAN

Contract Begins: September 7, 2026 (McAllen, TX)
Tech/Previews: September 7-13, 2026 (McAllen, TX)
National Tour: September 14 - December 27, 2026
Additional bookings possible.
COMPENSATION:

Salary starts at $900 per week (increasing with experience).
Hotel and per diem provided on the road.
Layoffs are unpaid.
