About This Role

Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Athletics Event Staff will be responsible for carrying out event duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective events.
These duties could include scoreboard operations, clock operations, official scorekeeping, camera operations, announcing, concessions operations, apparel sales operations, ticket operations, statistical record keeping, laundry operations, equipment operations or setting up and breaking down for events.
Summary Of Duties

What You’ll Do:

Represent Hudson County Community College Athletics in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Perform duties assigned during athletics events which could include any of the following duties:

Scoreboard Operations
Clock Operations
Official Scorekeeping
Camera Operations
Announcing
Concessions Operations
Apparel Sales Operations
Ticket Operations
Statistical Record Keeping
Laundry Operations
Equipment Operations
Set up and Break Down
Perform related duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

Education And Experience

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year experience playing a sport or working within event or game day operations.
General knowledge of intercollegiate athletics operations
Competencies And Skills

Demonstrates understanding of the community college mission.
Possesses general knowledge of intercollegiate athletics operations and either general knowledge of or willingness to learn game day operations skills including: scoreboard operations, clock operations, official scorekeeping, camera operations, announcing, concessions operations, ticket operations, statistical record keeping and event set up and break down.
