About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Advancement and Strategy to spearhead the development and execution of the institution's external partnerships, brand, and revenue-generating initiatives. The VPAS will serve as a chief convener with various stakeholders, ensuring that the company's strategy, execution, and outcomes are aligned.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President include serving as a senior adviser to the President, leading university-wide strategic planning, and integrating advancement and strategy portfolios. The role also involves close coordination with the CEO of the University Foundation, overseeing communications and marketing for a cohesive institutional brand, and actively pursuing revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in higher education, economic development, innovation, industry, government, or a related field, and will be adept at leading and developing high-performing teams. Collaboration with various university units and external partners is essential, as is the ability to represent the company with professionalism and strategic clarity.
