Position Overview
We are seeking a Communications Associate to support the U.S. Policy Communications team. This individual will play a key role in driving team organization, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting public policy communications initiatives across the United States. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the U.S. Policy Communications Lead by coordinating team operations, priorities, and communications initiatives.
Serve as a central point of coordination between regional U.S. communications leads and internal stakeholders across multiple business functions.
Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration and alignment on policy communications strategies and priorities.
Develop and maintain internal and external communications materials, including:

Press releases and media materials
Story pitches
Op-eds
Messaging frameworks and guidelines
Q&A documents
Briefing materials
Presentations
Executive talking points

Partner closely with Public Policy teams to identify communications opportunities related to new community policies and initiatives.
Support efforts that strengthen the company's reputation and protect business interests through strategic communications.
Assist with communications planning and execution during high-priority or time-sensitive situations.
Help establish and improve team processes, documentation, and best practices.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
3+ years of professional experience in communications, public relations, public affairs, corporate communications, or a related field.
Experience supporting teams in both communications and administrative capacities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience developing external-facing communications content.
Prior experience working with media relations, press outreach, or communications campaigns.
Highly organized with strong project management and process improvement skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and communicate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting public policy, government affairs, reputation management, or corporate affairs initiatives.
Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure while managing competing priorities.
