We are seeking a
Communications Associate, U.S. Policy Communications
on a
contract basis
to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is located in
San Francisco, CA .
Responsibilities
Support US Policy Communications Lead by spearheading organizational support for the team, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and integration with other functions, and providing surge capacity for overall policy communications needs nationwide.
Serve as connective tissue between regional U.S. comms leads and communicating priorities internally to key stakeholders on other teams.
Develop internal and external written materials: press materials, story pitches, op-eds, messaging guidelines, Q&As, briefs, presentations, talking points, etc.
Identify opportunities to partner with organization's public policy team regarding new community policies that protect the business and strengthen the company’s reputation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, including supporting a team in a communications and administrative capacity.
Strong process-oriented skills and passion for learning, improving, and sharing best practices.
Confidence driving communications process and ensuring team organization.
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate across departments and to all levels of the organization.
Strong communication and writing skills. Prior experience working with press and in communications.
Positive attitude, enthusiasm and ability to keep a level head in even the most stressful situations.
