About the Role
Want to help edit content for one of the fastest-growing founders in education?

Ideal Candidate
You're obsessed with YouTube. You study channels like Colin and Samir, Diary of a CEO, Alex Hormozi, MrBeast, and other creator-led brands—not to copy them, but to understand why they keep audiences watching. You think like both an editor and a strategist, constantly looking for ways to improve storytelling, retention, thumbnails, and packaging.

2-4 long-form YouTube videos per week

Craft engaging stories with strong pacing, seamless transitions, and high viewer retention

Identify high-impact moments from raw footage to create compelling hooks and intros

Structure videos to maximize watch time, audience engagement, and subscriber growth

Incorporate graphics, B-roll, music, sound design, and motion elements to elevate production quality

Collaborate with the marketing team on thumbnails, titles, and overall YouTube strategy

Review YouTube analytics and recommend ways to improve watch time, retention, click‑through rate, and channel performance

Organize project files and maintain an efficient post‑production workflow

Qualifications

5+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably with podcasts, documentaries, YouTube, or branded content.

You’re not just willing... You want to put in 70+ hours a week because you care deeply about building something great, moving fast, and making your mark.

Expert‑level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro with advanced knowledge of After Effects, Audition, and Photoshop.

Exceptional storytelling instincts with the ability to shape compelling narratives from long‑form footage.

Strong understanding of YouTube audience retention, pacing, and viewer psychology.

Experience editing multi‑camera productions, interviews, podcasts, and cinematic content.

Ability to direct post‑production workflows including color correction, audio mixing, graphics, music selection, and quality control.

Skilled at collaborating with producers, creators, and creative directors while incorporating feedback efficiently.

Proven track record of producing videos that drive meaningful audience growth, watch time, and engagement.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Passion for sports, education, business, or creator‑led media is a plus.
