In this role the Account Manager is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive growth and account revenue retention for some of our Asset Manager Clients! By collaborating with internal partners, the Account Manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solution. The position will run a defined book of Asset Management business within a geography and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals. You will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce Solution and Proposition Sales.
Role Responsibilities
Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision maker's strategies, priorities and needs
Maintain solid understanding of Refinitiv propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest
Build and embed a long term trusted advisor relationship with clients
Drive growth by expanding Refinitiv footprint within their accounts
Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and growing and retaining managed net revenue
Lead all aspects of all commercial activities within accounts, being responsible for the end to end customer relationship
Drive efficiency in account administration (especially for lower value and growth potential accounts)
Handle internal and external partners and maintain networks to come to terms with clients and close deals
Accountable and responsible for simple order taking
Qualifications and Experience Required
Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
Industry experience - Asset Managers
Strong product knowledge
Relationship building skills
Selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
Strong ability to influence clients
Strong listening skills, ability to develop and implement a sales plan, ability to use a variety of technology with a high level of proficiency
Problem solving--ability to understand, articulate, structure and solve client needs
Presentation, and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
Ability to collaborate with account team
Significant work experience in applicable industry and knowledge of customer workflow required
interpersonal and collaboration skills
Strong account management, sales or marketing experience in a customer facing environment required
Customer relationship management required throughout all levels within an organization
Education:
University/college degree or equivalent work experience

Compensation/Benefits Information:
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 - $200,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
