To support healthcare data exchange, the contracted Epic Interface Engineer will design, develop, and implement interfaces between Epic and third-party systems using Epic Bridges and Infor Cloverleaf while working remotely for a duration of 6+ months with potential for full-time placement.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, test, implement, and support interfaces between Epic and third-party systems
Analyze business and technical requirements for new interfaces and system enhancements
Troubleshoot interface failures and ensure timely resolution of issues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
7+ years of experience supporting healthcare interfaces in a hospital or healthcare IT environment
Hands-on experience with Infor Cloverleaf interface engine
Experience working with Epic Bridges and supporting Epic integrations
Strong knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 v2, FHIR, and X12
