Senior Account Executive – Strategic Communications
We're seeking an experienced communications professional to serve as the primary advisor for a portfolio of mission-driven organizations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a client-facing environment, enjoys developing strategic communications plans, and can confidently lead branding, public relations, and marketing initiatives from concept through execution.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned client accounts.
Develop and execute integrated communications and branding strategies.
Build strong client relationships while providing proactive strategic recommendations.
Lead communication planning across media relations, digital strategy, public relations, and creative initiatives.
Review communications materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Present strategic updates, campaign performance, and recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal creative teams to deliver high-quality communications campaigns.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, budgets, and client satisfaction.
Support community engagement initiatives, events, presentations, press releases, and storytelling efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of communications leadership experience.
Experience in account management, strategic communications, marketing, or public relations.
Experience preparing executive reports, proposals, presentations, or strategic planning documents.
Strong client-facing presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
Experience in a fast-paced communications or agency environment is preferred.
