JxJ Operations ManagerJxJ — the Edlavitch DC Jewish Community Center's Jewish film and music cultural arts program — seeks a Manager of Operations & Audience Development to support the planning, promotion, and execution of a multidisciplinary program serving the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. The role pairs operational leadership of screenings, performances, festivals, and special events with audience research that shapes programming strategy.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end operational preparation and execution for film screenings, live music performances, festivals, and special eventsEstablish and refine systems for scheduling, production planning, ticketing, and event managementSupport booking and scheduling of films and musical artistsDesign and implement audience research including surveys, focus groups, and CRM data analysisAnalyze attendance patterns, pricing sensitivity, demographic trends, and engagement metricsLead strategic outreach to partners and communities to catalyze audience growthQualifications:5–8+ years of relevant experience, including live arts operations and programmingDemonstrated success in outreach and audience cultivationStrong project management skills and experience with data analysis and CRM systemsAbility to work evenings and weekendsEstablished network in music/film communities and familiarity with Jewish culture and entertainment preferredSalary: $65,000/year.
