Social Media CoordinatorThe Social Media Coordinator is responsible for managing and curating content across social media platforms to build brand awareness, engage with customers, and drive traffic and leads to the dealership. This role involves developing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance to optimize social media campaigns.Monday - Friday and some Saturdays as needed (5 minimum per year) 9 AM - 5:30 PM Pay to commensurate upon experienceESSENTIAL DUTIES:Develop and execute daily social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), LinkedIn, and others to build brand awareness and engage with the dealership's audienceCurate and create engaging content, including images, videos, and written posts, to promote dealership services, vehicles, promotions, and eventsMonitor social media accounts, respond to customer inquiries, and engage with followers to foster a positive online communityTrack and analyze social media performance using tools like Google Analytics and platform-specific insights to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvementsCollaborate with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall dealership marketing goals and objectivesStay up to date on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging tools to ensure the dealership stays competitive in its online presenceCoordinate paid social media campaigns, including boosting posts, managing budgets, and tracking performanceMaintain consistent branding and messaging across all social media channels to support the dealership's voice and imageEnsure that delivery photos are posted dailyMaintain social media accounts for assigned stores on specified platformsPost 3 times per week on assigned accounts (minimum of 2 videos per week per store; include appropriate hashtags)Abide by OEM and Bert Ogden Corporate advertising guidelinesAudit accounts daily for inappropriate comments, errors, etc.Complete a whiteboard schedule of events and weekly social media links form on a weekly basisTake photos and videos of vehicles, customers, staff members, etc.Appear on camera for various photos and videos including TV commercials as neededTravel to various stores around Rio Grande ValleyPositively represent Bert Ogden both on and off the clockMeet and greet Bert Ogden guestsCommunicate regularly with fellow social media coordinators, videographers and marketing staff and upper-level managementSecure locations for filming away from dealershipsSet up lights and mics for filming when necessaryWork closely with general managers and sales individuals of assigned stores to create focused content for specific vehiclesOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Strong written and visual communication skills with the ability to create engaging contentProficiency in social media management tools and platformAnalytical skills to assess campaign performance and provide actionable insightsCreativity and adaptability in managing multiple social media channels and responding to trendsBasic knowledge of photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva)Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentAttention to detailPhotography experienceMultitaskerTime management skillsSelf-motivatedWilling to learn new programs and techniquesEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
