Senior Account Manager – IT Consulting, AI Solutions & Staffing
Location: Park Ridge, IL | Hybrid – 3 Days In Office / 2 Days Remote
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits
Peterson Technology Partners (PTP) is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive new business development and grow client relationships across our technology solutions portfolio.
This is a hunter-focused sales role for a proven business development professional who enjoys opening new accounts, building executive relationships, and creating revenue opportunities.
PTP is an AI-First organization with 28+ years of experience delivering IT Staffing, IT Consulting, AI Solutions, Digital Transformation, Project Services, and Technology Solutions to organizations across the U.S.
What You'll Do
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets
- Prospect and build relationships with CIOs, IT leaders, hiring managers, and business executives
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close
- Sell across PTP's portfolio of IT Staffing, Consulting, AI Solutions, Project Services, Digital Transformation, and Global Delivery
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline and consistently achieve revenue targets
- Conduct client meetings, networking events, business lunches, and executive meetings
- Partner with recruiting, delivery, and solution teams to develop customized client solutions
- Build long-term client relationships while continuously expanding your book of business
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales/business development experience
- Experience in IT Staffing, IT Consulting, Technology Services, Professional Services, or Workforce Solutions
- Proven track record of generating new business and acquiring new clients
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise organizations
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
- Hunter mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Ability to work 3 days per week from our Park Ridge, IL office
