Graphic Designer AssociateTurner's Outdoorsman is searching for a Graphic Designer Associate to join the team! The Turner's Outdoorsman Graphic Designer Associate is responsible for preparing advertisements, signage and miscellaneous projects before going to print and for digital publication on all platforms. This is an on-site/ in office position.Essential FunctionIn-house graphic designer assists with creating layouts for both printed and digital publicationProvides creative solutions to design challengesProvides photographs for specific projects/products/promotionsEnsures layout accuracy prior to emailing proofsCommunicates professionally with corporate clients via phone and email to finalize text layoutsCollaborates with management in a fast-paced environment to prioritize and proactively manage multiple projects simultaneouslyOrganize any incoming/outgoing invoicesWorks with measuring and filing for Co-OpWorks on weekly projects and finishes on time to meet deadlinesCreates/files and organizes reservation formsHelps print copies of invoicesSends out printed packets of signage for storesOrganize, edit, print and send employee badges to employees company wide.Create supportive materials needed for events company wide.QualificationsOutstanding written and verbal communication skills in EnglishHigh school graduate (or GED) required, college graduates preferred2+ years of strong graphic design experienceMarketing experience or college degree in marketing is a plusPhotography skills are a plusPrint / pre-press production skills are a plusIntermediate Macintosh experienceCandidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word Teams, and ExcelCandidate should be proficient in Adobe programs including InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat and PhotoshopMust be able to grasp instruction to new software programs and new software updatesKnowledge of program integration is a plusProfessional, intelligent, organized, proactive, efficientMust learn quickly, be a team player, and have an outstanding work ethicExceptional attention to detailThrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude in all situationsAbility to stay on task (no personal texting, emails, or web surfing)Must be a fast learner with attention to detail, who is well organized and able to multi-task.Must be proficient in design.Perform other duties as may be assignedPhysical RequirementsMust be able to stand, sit for long periods of time using the computer, bend and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shiftMust be able to walk up & down stairs multiple times dailyTravel RequirementsConsistent with making occasional stops to mail drop offsAble to travel to the corporate office quarterly throughout the yearHoursHours-Monday through Friday, 8am-5pmTurner's Outdoorsman is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
