For our client, we are seeking a Head Of Public Relations & Corporate Communications to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: New York, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $208,000 – $310,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Own operational infrastructure for PR, including media strategy and performance measurement
  • Collaborate with product leaders to enhance external messaging effectiveness
  • Manage the press release calendar and transform traditional messaging styles
  • Respond to media inquiries and shape the company's public narrative
  • Cultivate executive visibility through media and engagement opportunities
  • Coordinate with Investor Relations for aligned financial and corporate messaging
  • Plan and oversee major campaign events and product launches

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in public relations or corporate communications, ideally in a public company or regulated industry
  • Proven track record of enhancing communications operations with focused editorial calendars and messaging frameworks
  • Experience in securing high-visibility placements and engagements for executives
  • Solid understanding of financial communication, including earnings cycles and investor relations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a corporate newsroom or similar storytelling platform
  • Proficient in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects, including product launches and campaigns
  • Experience in crisis communications strategy and execution
