Technical Writer-TALENT NETWORK (Future Opportunities)IMS is seeking detail-oriented, adaptable Technical Writers to support client-facing communication initiatives. This role focuses on translating complex technical and scientific information into clear, accurate, and compelling content across multiple formats.Key Responsibilities:Develop, write, and edit a variety of technical and programmatic materials, including:Reports, success stories, and outreach contentBriefings, slide decks, and executive summariesAnnual reports and program documentationConduct research and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather and validate technical informationEdit and proofread materials for clarity, accuracy, grammar, tone, and compliance with client standardsManage multiple writing requests and priorities in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environmentTrack deliverables through multiple review cycles, including leadership and public affairs reviewSupport development of communication products such as fact sheets, brochures, media kits, and digital contentParticipate in meetings and working sessions to align on priorities, content needs, and deadlinesCompile and contribute to recurring deliverables (e.g., activity reports, annual reports)Ensure all work complies with branding, confidentiality, and operational security requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve communication processes and expand content impactRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field3+ years of experience in technical writing, editing, or communicationsExperience supporting DoD, AFRL, or federal contracting environmentsFamiliarity with technical, scientific, or R&D-based programsExperience with Adobe tools, multimedia content, or video editingExposure to content strategy, communications planning, or program outreachMeets U.S. citizenship and work eligibility requirements for federal contractorsMust possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret level clearance, if requiredSkills & Competencies:Excellent written and verbal communicationStrong organizational and time management skillsCollaborative mindset with ability to engage SMEs and leadershipCritical thinking and attention to detailAdaptability in dynamic, client-driven environmentsAbility to manage sensitive or controlled information appropriatelyStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detailAbility to translate complex or technical subject matter into clear, audience-appropriate contentExperience working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing prioritiesProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)Infinite Management Solutions, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and a 100% woman-owned company.
