Asst Dir, Graphic Design – Recruiting/Internal
Job Summary
The Assistant Director, Graphic Design – Recruiting/Internal willcreate, collaborate on and support the creation of internal-facingcreative content for Utah's Football, Men's Basketball, Women'sBasketball and Gymnastics programs. The primary focus for the twopositions will be on team operations and recruiting initiatives,with responsibility for producing high-quality graphics and visualassets that support coaches, staff and student-athletes, whilemaintaining alignment with established program and athleticsdepartment branding.
This position will report to the Assistant A.D., FootballCommunications, while maintaining a collaborative reportingrelationship with leadership within Crimson Brand Partners (CBP) toensure consistency across broader creative efforts.
Responsibilities
Internal Team & Player Creative
Design and produce graphics to support internal football, men'sbasketball, women's basketball and gymnastics operations, includingcontent for coaches, staff and student-athletes.
Fulfill day-to-day creative requests from recruiting,operations, strength & conditioning, nutrition, and otherinternal units.
Create materials such as player graphics, practice content,internal presentations, and team-focused visuals.
Assist in capturing and organizing team content during mediadays, practices, and team events.
Recruiting Creative Support
Develop and execute recruiting-related creative, includingvisit materials, personalized graphics, and on-campus content.
Support recruiting events with real-time or rapid-turnarounddesign needs.
Collaborate with recruiting staff to bring creative concepts tolife within established brand guidelines.
Maintain and update recruiting templates to ensure efficiencyand consistency.
Design Execution & Production
Execute creative projects across digital and print formatsunder the direction of Assistant A.D., Football Communications andCBP leadership.
Maintain organized file structures, templates, and assetlibraries for efficient workflow.
Ensure all creative aligns with sport program and departmentbrand standards.
Assist with high-volume production needs, particularly duringpeak periods (season, recruiting cycles, events).
Collaboration & Workflow
Work closely with sport program staffs to prioritize andcomplete projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain strongcommunication while meeting deadlines in a fast-pacedenvironment.
Receive and implement feedback quickly and effectively.
Participate in creative discussions and contribute ideas whenappropriate.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with photography and content capture as needed.
Support occasional overflow creative needs tied to broaderathletics department initiatives.
Stay current on design trends, particularly within collegeathletics and recruiting.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Digital Media, or relatedfield (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign)
Strong understanding of basic design principles, typography,and layout
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and non-traditionalhours, including game days and recruiting events
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform theessential functions of the job as outlined in the positiondescription.
Preferences
Experience in athletics, sports, or a related creativeenvironment (internships included)
Familiarity with college football recruiting and creativetrendsBasic knowledge of motion graphics (After Effects orsimilar)
Photography and/or video editing experience
Understanding of NCAA rules and general athleticsoperations
