Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator

Farah & Farah Personal Injury Lawyers · Jacksonville, FL, USA ·

Pay:
50.000 - 65.000
Job type:
Full Time

We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator to own the day-to-day voice, content, and community presence of Farah & Farah across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube. This is a hands-on role: you'll be planning content, filming and editing, writing captions, engaging with our audience, and working directly with attorneys and staff to bring campaigns to life. You'll report to the Digital Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the broader marketing, production, and compliance teams.
This role is best suited for someone who thinks like a creator first: someone who understands platform-native storytelling, can turn a hallway conversation with an attorney into a scroll-stopping video, and genuinely enjoys building community rather than just posting to a calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, film, edit, and publish organic content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube on a consistent posting cadence
Develop and execute content series and campaign tie-ins (e.g., recurring formats, attorney-led segments, community activations)
Write on-brand captions, scripts, and hooks that reflect Farah & Farah's voice: empathetic, locally rooted, direct, and accessible
Coordinate with attorneys and staff to capture authentic, selfie-style and interview-style content
Monitor competitor and industry social activity and surface relevant trends or opportunities
Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; engage with the community in real time
Track organic performance and report out regularly to the Digital Marketing Manager
Stay current on platform trends, formats, and algorithm shifts, and adapt content strategy accordingly
Partner with the Production Manager and production vendors on shoot logistics for higher-lift content
Support influencer and community partnership content as needed
Ensure all content complies with Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina Bar advertising rules, including required DISCLAIMERS
Maintain organized content archives and asset libraries
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
2-4+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field (agency, in-house, or creator background all welcome)
Demonstrated ability to shoot and edit short-form video
Strong writing skills with an ear for tone and voice
Comfortable being on camera and directing others on camera
Working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube best practices and native tools
Familiarity with editing tools such as Veed, Adobe Premiere, or similar
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing a content calendar independently
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build rapport with attorneys and staff to source content
A genuine interest in community, local news, and storytelling
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in compliance-heavy industry
Experience with social listening or analytics tools
Photography and lighting knowledge
What Success Looks Like:
Consistent, high-quality content output that grows engagement and follower trust, not just follower count
Content that feels authentic to Farah & Farah's community-first brand rather than generic law firm marketing
Strong working relationships with attorneys that make them comfortable participating on camera
A well-organized, forward-planned content calendar with minimal last-minute scrambling
The Right Person For This Role Is:
Genuinely plugged into internet culture and quick to spot a trend before it peaks
Proactive, bringing new content ideas to the table rather than waiting for direction
Comfortable balancing fast-moving, reactive opportunities with a structured content calendar
Excited to build a brand that their community wants to engage with
Someone who believes the comment section matters just as much as the post itself
Benefits We Offer:
401(k) with matching contributions
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
Life insurance and short-term disability coverage
Paid time off and an employee assistance program
Health and savings account
Referral program
Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour shifts
Monday to Friday
Onsite in a professional office setting
