The ideal individual will support, and in some cases, lead Supply Chain Execution, Customer Proposal, and Program Start-up efforts for the Ship Systems Integration & Sustainment (SSIS) portfolio.If you enjoy developing creative solutions to challenging issues in a cutting-edge environment, then this role is for you. You will be the liaison between the program office, engineering, operations, quality, contracts, and finance organizations. The selected candidate is responsible for ensuring the successful development, coordination and of material strategies enabling the execution of SSI programs to meet supply chain, portfolio, and business objectives.This position is a remote role. The selected candidate will work with the hiring manager to set schedule. Some travel required (up to 25%).What You Will Do:Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program deliveriesDevelop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectivesGenerating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP's / RFQ's)Gate Review preparation and/or supportSupporting Prime Contract Proposal activities for Suppliers and ISC BOE'sIdentifying Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtaining any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or ModificationsObtaining, understanding and processing Supplier proposals/quotesDrive Purchase Order closeouts on completed contractsGenerating and processing Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requestsGenerate and manage SCM Material Sales, Estimate At Completion (EAC), and Risk & OpportunitiesDrive Purchase Requisition generation and Purchase Order placementLine of Balance (LOB) execution and maintenanceLead Make/Buy decisions and affordability efforts for program materialAssist and/or Lead negotiations on Material with Suppliers and/or the CustomerPreparing and executing Material Program Plans (MPPs)Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure a successful supply baseIdentify and execute mitigation plans to resolve material impacts to program milestonesQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experienceMRP/ERP systems (special program access or equivalent manufacturing programs)US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOW)Experience working in a cross functional matrixed Integrated Product Team (IPT) environmentExperience with Supplier Statements of Work (SOW)Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)Estimating, proposal, Negotiation and/or capture experienceWhat We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
