Videographer / Editor

KA Marketing & Productions is looking for a contract Videographer/Editor to join our production team on a project and retainer basis. You'll be the creative hands behind our clients' video content — from on-location shoots to final, polished edits — working from approved scripts and creative direction to produce content that's ready to publish.
What You’ll Do
Shoot and edit short- and long-form video content based on the creative direction, scripts, and references provided for each client each month. Turn raw footage into polished, on-brand final drafts — including color grading, sound mixing, motion graphics, and captions as needed. Capture b-roll, interviews, and on-location footage across shoot days, working efficiently within scheduled blocks. Upload working files and final drafts to the appropriate client Dropbox folder, keeping files organized and clearly labeled. Track your task status, deadlines, and any questions or blockers in Asana. Incorporate feedback and revision requests promptly, documenting changes in the relevant Asana task. Deliver a clear final version of every project, ready for scheduling and publishing.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience shooting and editing video for social media and marketing (reels, TikToks, YouTube, brand content). Strong technical skills in cinematography — lighting, audio, multi-angle capture — and in an editing platform such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve. Comfort working independently against a monthly content calendar and hitting deadlines without close supervision. Familiarity with Dropbox and Asana, or similar file-storage and project-management tools. A good eye for pacing, story, and brand consistency — someone who can take a script or concept and make it feel premium. Reliable communication and the ability to take direction and feedback well.
Contract/freelance, project- and retainer-based. Work is assigned per client per month. Shoot days and edit turnarounds are scheduled around each client's monthly deadlines. Rate and cadence to be discussed based on client workload and scope.
