That is how we supply our clients with cutting-edge solutions and services.The Proposal Coordinator leads the administrative and organizational aspects of the proposal development process for federal, state, and local government opportunities. They work closely with Capture Managers, Proposal Managers, and Proposal Production Team to ensure all proposal components are compliant with Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements, formatted correctly, and submitted on time.Key ResponsibilitiesRFP Analysis & ComplianceSchedule & Workflow ManagementFormatting & Quality ControlProduction & Submission LeadershipDocument Control & Repository ManagementRequired Qualifications5–8+ years of experience in proposal coordination, editing, or production within government contracting.Strong understanding of FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific procurement requirements.Proficiency with proposal tools such as SharePoint, Awarded AI, Deltek, GovWin, VisibleThread, and related systems.Exceptional attention to detail, organization, communication, and time-management skills.Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deadlines, and support large, multi-disciplinary proposal teams.Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.Preferred QualificationsAPMP Certification (Foundation or higher).Experience coordinating complex color team reviews and high-volume proposal efforts.Familiarity with federal and defense submission portals (e.g., GSA, DoD, DOE).What You'll BringA proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to anticipate team needs, streamline workflows, and uphold high standards of quality and compliance.A collaborative spirit and commitment to continuous improvement.Basic Compensation: $86,000-$128,900The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
