The Controls Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of FMS/BMS and data center control systems from pre-sales through commissioning. The role includes developing control schematics, I/O lists, Sequence of Operations (SOO), riser diagrams, and construction drawings. The engineer will work with PLC-based controls, system integration, and communication protocols such as Modbus, SNMP, TCP/IP, and RS-485. The position also involves coordination with electrical, mechanical, vendors, and commissioning teams. Modular experience is preferred.
Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
6–10 years of Controls Engineering experience.
Experience with FMS/BMS design, integration, testing, and commissioning.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent engineering tools.
