Position Overview Mechanical Sales is seeking a proactive, highly organized Marketing & Sales Enablement Specialist to join our growing team! This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating projects, creating polished marketing materials, supporting sales teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences while balancing multiple priorities.
The Marketing & Sales Enablement Specialist will support the productivity, professionalism, and customer engagement efforts of our Sales Engineers and Partners. This role coordinates tradeshows, customer events, training programs, marketing communications, and presentation materials while maintaining consistent branding, operational efficiency, and measurable customer engagement.
Primary Responsibilities Tradeshow Planning & Coordination Review tradeshow opportunities with Partners
Register and coordinate participation for selected tradeshows
Assist with tradeshow budgeting and ROI tracking
Manage tradeshow calendar for Sales Engineer awareness
Coordinate booth logistics including displays and promotional materials
Develop creative customer engagement and follow-up strategies
Facilitate Partner and Sales Engineer attendance at each tradeshow
Track tradeshow participation, customer engagement, and follow-up activities
Attend trade shows as necessary
Examples include AIA, ASHRAE, BOMA, IAAPPA, ISHE, etc.
Event Planning, Coordination, & Marketing Assist Partners and Sales Engineers in developing customer engagement events and activities
Manage event calendar for Sales Engineer Awareness
Coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, scheduling, registration, and on-site support
Coordinate with manufacturers when they are in attendance
Develop event marketing communications through Constant Contact and other channels
Develop creative customer engagement and post-event follow-up strategies
Facilitate Partner and Sales Engineer attendance at each event
Track event attendance and customer engagement metrics
Coordinate photography and marketing assets for customer events
Examples include Daikin Innovation Roadshow and Simulator Golf Leagues
Training, Planning, Coordination, & Marketing Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing both engineering and technical training opportunities
Coordinate with manufacturers providing training resources and support
Create monthly marketing communications promoting training opportunities
Coordinate webinar and virtual training logistics as necessary
Develop additional customer engagement strategies to increase training participation
Track customer attendance, participation, and training completion metrics
Assist in maintaining training records, CEU documentation, and attendee reporting
Constant Contact Planning & Design Manage Constant Contact database including contacts, lists, and tags
Develop monthly email campaign schedule with Partners
Design Constant Contact emails and marketing content
Maintain consistency in company branding and customer-facing communications
Review campaign analytics including open rates, click-through rates, and engagement trends
Presentations Design Develop lunch ‘n learn campaign schedule with Partners
Design PowerPoints and sales collateral for Sales Engineers
Support Sales Engineers with presentation formatting, graphics, and messaging consistency
Develop and maintain branded presentation templates
Maintain a professional and consistent company image across customer-facing materials and presentations
Operational & Business Support Assist in maintaining CRM (Streamline) data integrity, reporting, and user analytics
Assist with Power BI reporting and sales analytics initiatives
Coordinate internal business calendar communication and scheduling efforts
Support scope development and standard document organization
Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in sales support, marketing, event coordination, communications, or a related business function
Experience with Canva/Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, required
Familiarity with CRM systems, Constant Contact, and Power BI, preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
Strong project management and organizational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail while managing multiple priorities
Strong customer service skills with a genuine desire to help people
Ability to travel and work outside of normal office hours as needed for events, trade shows, etc.
