Overview:
The Digital Messaging Specialist will play a key role on the Digital team to develop, execute, and evaluate Email, SMS, and Push marketing campaigns to drive sales, grow our CRM, and support growth initiatives. This position collaborates across campus departments to drive customer experience and sales for all of Scheels.

Responsibilities:

Own and maintain the Email, SMS, and Push campaign messaging calendar in alignment with merchandising priorities, promotional events, and broader company growth goals

Develop and maintain weekly reporting dashboards to evaluate campaign performance and identify messaging adjustments

Build and deploy targeted campaign messaging through our ESP platform to drive CRM engagement, customer retention, and increased revenue

Collaborate across different campus teams (merchandising, customer service, fulfillment, marketing) to share campaign performance insights and recommend actionable future strategies

Coordinate acquisition strategies to build our CRM with high-quality subscribers

Advance segmentation strategies to deliver highly relevant, targeted messaging

Identify and execute data-driven A/B testing to optimize campaign KPIs and customer experience

Become a power user of internal marketing platforms, driving innovation through new features and messaging capabilities

Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies to translate best practices into actionable messaging campaigns

Ability to be organized, detailed, and multi-task

Excellent judgment, strategic thinker, enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial

Ability to work independently and with the team

Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement with a proven ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

Excellent written & oral communication skills, including proofreading skills

Strong presentation skills to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization

Must be flexible to work between 7a.m. and 5p.m., Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed

Education & Experience:

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

1-3 years marketing experience

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
