Overview
As a Search Planner, you work as a part of the Paid Search team within the Consumer Communications department in developing and implementing Search Marketing campaigns to deliver against key performance indicators for a highly respected automotive client, Toyota.

Success for this position is measured by effective development of Campaign/Initiative Search marketing plans, an ability to work and collaborate with others and the willingness and ability to innovate in the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) space.

An ideal candidate will need to be a self-starter with the knowledge and energy to develop SEM campaigns and should be capable and confident in presenting your own strategic plans/content to the team. As such, the candidate should have 3 - 5 years of search marketing experience.

Responsibilities

Search Marketing plan development and execution management

Write, analyze and present search media POVs and plans

Develop search strategies and foster innovative tactics

Implement and follow media process and agency process

Maintain and develop relationships within the agency, and with vendors and partner agencies

Analyze analytics and optimize search plans

Support and inspire the work and the people

Strong self-starter not limited by assigned duties

Understand and explain the fundamentals of digital advertising, media planning and buying

Support Paid Search Team in evaluating and implementing advertising campaigns

Support Paid Search Team with running and analyzing syndicated research reports utilizing agency media planning tools

Responsible for maintaining accurate media flowcharts, trafficking instructions, creative allocations, budgets/billing discrepancies, and make-goods

Input and maintain media buys with heavy data with a high degree of accuracy

Assist the team in managing and monitoring media buys, including Paid Search optimizations and reporting

Effectively coordinate with internal and external media partner & teams

Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate meetings with clients and media partners

Assist the team with ad hoc projects

Work extended hours, including weekends, as required

Qualifications

College Degree

Minimum 2-3 years of dedicated Paid Search planning experience

Ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in business writingExcellent verbal and written communication skills

Working knowledge of search related media tools (ex. SA360, GA4, SEM Rush, etc.)

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Google Suite (Sheets, Docs & Slides)

Experience with reporting within the DoubleClick suite or comparable service

Demonstrate resourcefulness, creative use of resources to proactively solve problems and get the job done

Working comprehension of search media strategy development

Demonstrate strong degree of accuracy and attention to detailBelieve in leading by example, finding solutions and striving for excellence

Good use of judgment when making decisions and performing tasks

Extremely Strong Project Management Skills

Excellent Organization and Time Management Skills

Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task

Utilization of AI in Productivity

Understanding of AI in Paid Search Media

Automotive experience is desirable

Compensation Range: USD $50,065.00 - USD $63,200.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
