To support a DHS program, the full-time remote Interaction Designer/User Researcher/Usability Tester will conduct user research, develop personas, and perform usability testing to enhance user experience and drive adoption of various applications and systems.
Key responsibilities
Conduct stakeholder interviews and user requirements analysis to inform design decisions
Design user interfaces and information architecture while leading iterative design activities
Produce user requirements specifications, personas, prototypes, and facilitate usability testing sessions
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of three years of combined experience in interaction design, user research, and usability testing
US Citizen with the ability to complete a government-issued background investigation
Ability to obtain a Public Trust; prior Public Trust or Security Clearance preferred
Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable plans
