Director OF Communications

Director, Communications, Consumer Products and ExperiencesWe are seeking a Director, Communications to lead global communications and publicity for a growing consumer products and experiences portfolio. This role will develop and execute strategic communications programs across consumer, trade, lifestyle, and business media, while managing high-profile launches, events, partnerships, and reactive communications. The ideal candidate is a senior communications professional with strong media relationships, excellent writing skills, executive presence, and proven end-to-end campaign ownership.Responsibilities include developing and executing global internal and external communications strategies, leading integrated product campaigns across consumer, trade, print, digital, TV, podcasts, and other media, building and maintaining relationships with key journalists and media outlets, identifying and pitching proactive storytelling opportunities around products, franchises, partnerships, and experiences, managing communications for product launches, media events, trade shows, and seasonal campaigns, writing and overseeing press releases, media pitches, messaging, talking points, and executive communications, serving as a communications partner to internal teams, business leaders, licensees, and external partners, managing reactive media inquiries while maintaining a proactive communications pipeline, owning communications projects end-to-end, from strategy and planning through execution and measurement, maintaining media lists, tracking coverage, and evaluating campaign performance, and collaborating with broader communications and cross-functional teams on high-priority initiatives.The company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, paid holidays annually - AS Applicable.
