An Inside Sales Account Manager serves as a dedicated, high-energy customer champion, handling end-to-end service, order monitoring, and proactive problem-solving to make every client's life as seamless as possible. Working closely with cross-functional teams like operations and logistics, the role aligns day-to-day customer care with business strategy by translating real-time buyer feedback into operational improvements. By maintaining a relentless positive attitude in the face of adversity, candidates directly drive company goals through increased client retention, trust, and long-term recurring revenue.

Leadership & Core Responsibilities

Account Ownership & Service: Proactively manage daily customer communications, resolve service inquiries, and oversee order tracking from placement to delivery to ensure seamless fulfillment, high satisfaction, and maximum customer retention.

Proactive Problem Solving: Serve as the primary point of contact for order disruptions, maintaining an energetic, positive demeanor while swiftly resolving issues to protect client trust and brand reputation.

Operational Documentation: Maintain accurate client data and order history within CRM and ERP systems, documenting all service interactions and performance metrics to support informed decision-making.

Order Fulfillment Coordination: Own the order lifecycle through to delivery, collaborating closely with logistics and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time.

Strategic Insight Generation: Analyze order patterns and client feedback to recommend process improvements or operational updates that enhance departmental efficiency and customer experience.

Cross-Functional Workflow Management: Identify and streamline the sequence of service operations, working with production, test, and logistics teams to ensure all customer requirements are handled efficiently.

Proposal & Quote Support: Review and provide accurate technical content for proposals and quote responses, ensuring alignment between customer needs, site capabilities, and company standards.

Collaborative Leadership: Partner across the Hermetics and PCG divisions to lead by example, hold internal teams accountable for service excellence, and utilize sales data to drive informed business decisions.

Customer Relationship & Operations Management

End-to-End Account Ownership & Service: Proactively manage daily client communications, resolve service inquiries, and oversee order tracking from placement to delivery to ensure seamless fulfillment, high satisfaction, and maximum customer retention.

Proactive Problem Solving Under Pressure: Serve as the first point of contact for order disruptions or adversity, maintaining an energetic, positive demeanor while swiftly resolving issues to protect client trust and brand reputation.

Strategic Sales & Team Collaboration

Account Expansion & Revenue Retention: Analyze order patterns and client feedback to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, directly driving predictable recurring revenue and customer lifetime value.

Cross-Functional Business Alignment: Partner with logistics, operations, and marketing teams to relay customer insights and streamline workflows, aligning day-to-day service execution with broader company growth goals.

Education & Technical Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related field required; Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or CRM certifications preferred.

Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in inside sales, account management, or high-touch customer service roles with a track record of handling high-volume accounts.

Industry Domain: Deep familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems for order tracking and inventory management, and B2B customer support workflows.

Regulatory Compliance: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ERP systems for order monitoring and inventory management (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
