Bringing original and creative videos to life, the full-time Associate Content Creator will pitch, book, film, edit, and deliver engaging content for social media channels and the app, while working independently during breaking news situations.
Key responsibilities:
Pitch and create compelling social videos, particularly during breaking news events
Collaborate closely with reporters, editors, and the video production team to produce engaging content
Attend events to capture and edit video content on behalf of the brand
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a fast-paced, creative environment
Proficiency in video editing using Adobe Premiere
Strong understanding of social media trends, especially for Gen Z audiences
Experience creating and growing audiences for media sites and digital brands
