Social Media Analyst

We are seeking a Social Media Communications Specialist to provide timely, strategic communications support to a Military Department. This fast‑paced headquarters role offers a unique opportunity to lead a dynamic, multi‑channel social media program and produce high‑impact content each week.

Salary: $55,000-$59,000. Commensurate with experience.
Work Location and Schedule
Full-Time Position in the National Capital Region (NCR), capable of supporting the client remotely and inperson atthe Pentagon (as needed).
Required Qualifications – Must Have
MUST have a BA/BS OR 4 years of equivalent experience. MUST have an ACTIVE Secretclearance OR an interim Secretclearance in progress. MUST be a US citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
DoD program experience in a headquarters organization. 3 years of government communications experience.
Job Duties
Coordinate social media content and communication efforts withthe command staff and organizational leadership. Develop and execute daily and weekly social media and communication strategies. Monitor audience engagement, analyze performance, andrecommend improvements to the social media plan. Research authoritative data sources to identify relevant events, activities, and information for publication. Provide communications support to senior government officials, including GS-15 and SES personnel. Evaluate communication strategies, recommend improvements, and ensure accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across multiple platforms.
