To support client care authorization processes, the part-time Temp Clinical Letter Writer will gather and review medical records, draft letters of medical necessity, and communicate with team members regarding client authorizations and recertifications in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities

Research diagnoses and treatment strategies to inform correspondence regarding client authorizations and changes in care levels
Write draft letters of medical necessity for client care authorization and recertification
Review authorization and recertification paperwork and communicate with team members for clarification as needed

Required qualifications

Registered Nurse with current State licensure preferred
Minimum of two years of healthcare experience preferred
Strong research, writing, and editing skills
Proficient computer skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
